We 3 Colonels are:
Ryan Hughes - Bass & Vocals
Ryan has played in a number of well known north east bands including the Tony Liddle band, Officers Club, Black, FM and The Boyz to name a few. Ryans gear is an Ashdown head and cab. His basses are Martin Simm custom and a Fender precision deluxe series.
As well as being the band's bass player Ryan is also the band's lighting guru. His expertise even extends to the fretboard on his bass!
Ged Knowles - Keyboards & Vocals
Ged has played in a number of bands, mostly as a drummer. His most recent bands were 'Malarkey' and 'The Purple Supper Band' where he met guitarist Mark.
Ged originaly played drums in we3colonels but switched to Keyboards in 2011.
Kyle Hughes - Drums
Kyle, son of Ryan, joined the band in 2011 when Ged moved onto Keyboards. Kyle uses Sabian, Zildjian and Paiste Cymbals. His drums are Yamaha Rock Tour Custom, a 12" Black Panther Walnut Snare. Kyle has been playing drums since the age of 6 and began performing at the age of 10. Kyle can also sometimes by seen deputising for the Purple Supper Band. His ambition is to become a Professor in music and he hopes to study at Birhlee College in Boston USA! He's loving playing in front of audiences since joining we3colonels.
Mark Coulson - Guitar & Vocals
Mark recently played with 'The Purple Supper band' as well as various other bands over a long musical career of many years. Despite the years of late night gigs Mark has retained his boyish good looks. Mark is sponsored by 'Fenda' guitars and 'Just for Men' hair products.
Mark uses a Cornford hellcat amp . Fender stratocaster and a Gibson Les Paul.
